The Ortega Cup, named in honour of the late Mr Robert Ortega, an Old Boy of SJI and Higher Clerical Officer of Raffles Institution from 1960s to 1974, is an annual match played between the old boys of RI and SJI. The Ortega Cup has come to symbolise the essence of team spirit, sportsmanship and fellowship and is an event bringing together soccer players and ardent supporters from both institutions. The next Ortega Cup will be held on 27 July 2007, Friday at Raffles Junior College Stadium.
